This columnist has come to his wit's end with American "liberals" because they refuse to do what needs to be done in order to preserve what used to be the greatest democracy in the world.
This columnist has observed you, and this columnist has taken notice of your actions when the right-wing in your respective nations try to destroy you: you don't put up with it.  You stand up and throw Molotovs.

While some nations in Western Europe are slowly returning to the 1930's and early 1940's, the rest of you flip fascists and theocratic sociopaths the middle finger and take care of business.  Meanwhile, I continue to deal with a group of frightened mice who hope that the next election just might work out for the best-even with all the voting irregularities which continue to take place.

Okay, it's riddle time, garcons et mademoiselles!

What do you usually do when some right-wing officials propose to cut services?  That's right!  You go out and take care of business-and the right backs down.

American liberals have become so selfish that they think about their respective conscientiousness rather than how to best accomplish the goal of defeating right-wing obstruction.

Either that, or they're just cowards.  I don't know.  However, cowardice is a form of selfishness, so I may not be off by much.

Let me explain the selfishness of the American liberal.

The American liberal is usually a baby boomer who still relives his days in the dormitory at the University of California at Berkeley or somewhere where they were testing chemicals when they were just philosophy majors.

He has benefited from his parents' victories, but refuses to acknowledge that fact.

While the Democratic Party does all that it can to preserve Social Security, overtime (pay working for over eight hours a day, although in some states, the concept of overtime has become weekly rather than daily).

Remember that this is the generation which pled that their parents should give peace a chance, but turned around and voted for war criminals by the names of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush-and now, then they committed political suicide when they voted for Donald Trump, according to Salon.

The Dirtiest Generational War Fought in History

So, how should Generations X, Y, and the Millennials deal with the situation?

This columnist has an idea:

Treat Them As They Treated Us!

Having grown up in the Lutheran tradition, I am familiar with the Fourth Commandment, which commands young people to respect their parents:

The Fourth Commandment.

Thou shalt honor thy father and thy mother [that it may be well with thee and thou mayest live long upon the earth].

What does this mean?

We should fear and love God that we may not despise nor anger our parents and masters, but give them honor, serve, obey, and hold them in love and esteem.

Listen to what baby boomers thought of us, their own children, in 1985, as you watch this clip from The Breakfast Club.
The Fate of American Baby Boomers in the End

Well, the Los Angeles heavy metal band, Ratt reminded us all of the concept comeuppance (at least in this particular case, although that's not what this song is about) in 1983 when people insist on treating others like human garbage.

What comes around GOES around!

You realize that Trump is killing the Meals on Wheels program, right?  And the funniest thing is that the baby boomers voted for him!  Don't worry, though.  We know where to buy cat food-cheap!
Remember that Generation X was the first latch key generation and that's when the suicides and juvenile crime statistics began to rise in the United States, so it's not like the American baby boomer is a victim of anything.
He voted to deprive us of our education when he voted for Ronald Reagan.  Ironically, he also sealed his fate when he voted for Trump.

However, this columnist really would like to get some advice from Europeans on how to get other liberals on the street to fight Donald Trump, because the baby boomers simply won't do it.

They are too stubborn to admit that their peaceful ways have failed them and they care as little for the futures of their grandchildren today as they did with regard to the futures of their children thirty years before. Remember that they called themselves The Me Generation.

Another irony about American baby boomers is that they become incredibly angry when they defend their failures-and remember that this was the generation that sang about giving peace a chance.
