Does God really give a damn about people who are in pain emotionally? Where is He when there is confusion? The funny thing is that I'm past the pain process and now am in the guarding phase, because I received a disturbing call from her last night.
I won't go into detail, but this is completely out of her character. Worse yet, it's something with which I'm familiar. She is completely upside down and scared about what she should do, but I told her that I will support her decisions and come to her rescue-which is probably what I'm going to have to do.
I told her last night what she needed to do today in order to fix this-especially since I'm familiar with this subject (notice I'm not telling you what it is. I'm familiar with it, and it's that fucking scary. The experience I had with this particular realm was so bizzare and scary one night in December of 1988 that I jumped off of that train right then.
She's praying tonight. I know she is, because that's who she is. The funny thing is that I am, too-and that's totally out of my character. I abhor religions because they sell you candy canes made from dog excrement.
Let's put it this way, the Christian Right in the United States of America is a total fraud; from it views on mercy to the prosperity gospel. It's all bullshit, because Christ was opposed every view they espouse.
For example, the Christian Right tells Americans that they will go to Hell if they oppose Donald Trump. Jesus said that the only way to get to Hell was by rejecting Him as the Messiah.
Did Jesus resurrect?
Well, I know how crucifixion (which is still a form of capital punishment in some parts of this sick world) kills by asphyxiation. You have to push with your legs in order to breathe-which is why the Romans broke the legs, so as to hasten death. I also know that Roman soldiers who fell asleep at their posts where burned were they slept.
Put the two together, and you have my view on whether Jesus resurrected or not-I mean that poor fucker was DEAD! He was already in shock from blood loss, which is why Simon of Cyrene had to help Him up Golgotha.
As for my view on the Christian religion, it was pirated by thieves and killers more than ten centuries ago, starting with the Great Schism in 1054, the Inquisition, on through the Burning Times, and up to the modern McCarthyism of today which is particularly experienced in the United States. Trumps has gone so far as to make Christianity the official religion of the United States, according to Randall Balmer's article in the The Guardian.https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/feb/18/donald-trump-evangelicals-code-of-ethics
This gives one a better understanding of why Christians in America have become so hateful-especially since the turn of the 21st Century.
What did James write about the subject of religion?
James 1:27 New International Version (NIV)27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
Let's see. Trump wants to get rid of Obamacare, Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, and he hates immigrants. Well, what does the Bible state about the treatment of immigrants?
21"You shall not wrong a stranger or oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. 22"You shall not afflict any widow or orphan.…
"You shall not oppress a stranger, since you yourselves know the feelings of a stranger, for you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.
You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired man are not to remain with you all night until morning.
'When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.
'The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God."
And I thought I was in trouble. Oh, well.
The point of this is that she's in trouble, she needs your prayers and she already has my support in every possible form-yes, that, too. Shut up.
I'm not sure whether or not the Father cares about certain people, but I do.
